Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing technique in which a small handheld instrument is used to add pigment to the skin. Each hairstroke is created by hand using a blade which creates a fine incision in the skin. Microblading is typically done to create, enhance, or reshape the appearance of eyebrows in terms of both shape and color. It is a safe and highly effective treatment to improve the look of both women and men.
Our office adheres to the highest standards of sterilization and infection control, as we are a medical practice. All items used to perform treatment are either single use and disposable, or steam autoclaved. Our Microblading expert is licensed and certified in all infection control directives.
A tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing because each hair stroke is created by hand using a blade, whereas eyebrow tattoos are done with a machine and single needle. Microblading is typically used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape their appearance in terms of both shape and texture.
Ombre brows are done with a machine much like the one a tattoo artist would use, and create a more filled in makeup look. Ombre brows are more desired for people who already have a nice full shape to their natural brows, and/or people with oily skin. This brow technique is more permanent. When doing ombre the artist will go lighter in the front and darker in the tail to give it the ombre effect.
Combination brows are a combination of both microblading and powder brow services. The front of the brow (the Bulb) is done with the microblading tool while the end or (the tail) is done with the machine. This is the most popular technique among our clients.
A touch up is a required service 4-8 weeks after your initial microblading session.
A color boost is recommended to be done 6-12 months after your initial service. If it is done after one year, an entire new service must be done.
